HIDA scan 25%

Hello..well where do I begin..I'll try to keep it short as possible. Not long ago i started experiencing mild to moderate pain in my right side under rib cage. It would come and go and would chalk it up as something I ate. Well recently went to dinner with my wife and not long after experienced difficulty swallowing and turned into severe heartburn. Went home and popped a Zantac and solved the heart burn issue mind you you I have never had any symptoms of gerd reflux etc. ever. But in the following days I noticed the pain in my side came back more aggressively. Went to my PC and was referred to a GI. While waiting for the GI appt it became more uncomfortable so I went to he ER. They did blood work, CT scan and ultrasound. They didn't see anything no stones etc and sent me home chalking it up as anxiety and gave me a Ativan. Following days visited GI for follow up and was scheduled for a HIDA scan, scan came back that my efraction rate was at 25% but there was no duct blockage. The GI Dr recommended I have my gallbladder out and wanted to schedule surger.  Was a little hesitant so went for a second opinion to a well known GI Dr.  He told me that no surgeon would remove my gallbladder without me having stones. Now I'm confused. He wanted to schedule a endoscopy to rule out an ulcer. At this point I'm miserable every day, been taking protonix and ranitidine daily and constantly have to burp and still feel the pain on my side from time to time. Is it possible with my HIDA scan at 25% and no stones that my gallbladder could be causing the issue. I just want to feel normal again.  My insurance changes on January 1st and have to start this process all over again. Any feedback is appreciated and sorry for rambling on.
