Bowel

I have had pain in the same part of my descending colon since I was 13.  I was told I have IBS but in the last 2 years I get the pain 20 minutes after every meal.  In the last year I have started to get the pain and feel so nauseous I vomit.  It just has progresively gotten worse and I am tired of the pain.  I take fiber and laxaives as needed for constipation.  I don't know what else to do.  Doctors never listen.

I think that it would be a good idea to talk to your doctor about getting a CT scan.

I have had a Barium swallow. Upper and lower GI about 10 years ago.  The doctor just kept recomending different types of fiber and laxatives.   To be honest I haven't gone back in 5 years for this because I am frustrated with the results every time.  I need to say I also have hypothyroidism and fibromyalgia.  Inspite of all the vomiting I struggle with weighty.  I have been excersizing regularly  for the last year.  The spot that I have the pain is exactly the same spot everytime.  It does not radiate.  I can actually put my fist on the exact same spot everytime. Lower left quad.
