Excessive Burping

I am a 22 year old male, workout everyday and am on a strict eating schedule of fresh fruits and vegetables and plain meat cooked in olive oil (chicken or beef).  After every meal about 10-15 minutes later I begin to start this spell of excessive burping and it doesn't subside for at least an hour.  I asked my chiropractor about this and he mentioned that my diaphragm could be out of place and adjusted that for me; however the problem still exists.  I do enjoy getting coffee with friends every now and then and that is the worst burping.  I am curious as to what this problem is and what I can do to get rid of it. Thanks

It is possible that your stomach does not produce enough Hydrochloric Acid.  See a Holistic Doctor and have him check for this.  It is very likely.  I had this problem myself for years but no longer do.  Here's a test you can do.  Take lemon and squeeze half of it into a glass of water.  Don't sweeten it with ANYTHING other than steiva.  I like "NOW" brand stevia.  You can buy it at any well stocked health food store like Whole Foods Market.  Drink this with your meals.  If it helps, even a little, you have too little hcl.  Still, my problem was so severe that the lemon test did not help me at all.  I had a test done called a Hydelburg Gastrogram Test.  If you can find a place that does this test..go there.  Even if you have to fly.  This is the only test that can tell exactly what is going on with your stomach's ph when you eat and when you don't.  Good Luck!
