Gastric Issue with Vertigo

I am in desperate need of help! For the last five years, twice a year or more, I have had these episodes. It will just hit me all of a sudden where I get horrible vertigo and feel like I am going to pass out. Immediately I feel the need to have a bowel movement. Once I am able to get to the bathroom with assistance I will pass a bowel movement and the feeling of passing out starts to subside I little bit. After this I have to lay down because the vertigo is still really bad. This cycle of vertigo/passing out/bowel movements continues for about two hours. Once it is all done I can barely function to get up. The only symptom left besides being very tired is loose stools. The loose stools and fatigue usually stick around for about a month to two months. I also just have a feeling of general malaise. This is ruining my life because I can’t work. No one wants to hire someone who is sick for two or more months of the year. Any answers that anyone could give me or even a general direction would be greatly appreciated. I have been to several doctors and all of them agree that it is odd but don’t have any answers. Because I am relatively young and in good health otherwise it feels like I am being ignored. Thank you in advance! (Side note: I am on no medications at all and don’t drink or smoke or do any kind of drugs. I am a vegetarian and when these episodes happen I stick to a no fiber diet until my stomach acts normal again)

Hello~I am sorry you are experiencing these symptoms, vertigo is awful.

Have you had any MRI's or Cat Scans on your neck, sometimes they will show up things that could be wrong? Have you had seen an ear specialist to rule out any inner ear disorder?

I would suggest, since you have tried other venues, that you try a chiropractor, you may have some misalignments in your neck or upper back, although, I would think that would cause constant issues, but still, the body is a complicated machine, so anything is possible. The chiropractor will take x-rays of your neck and back, study them, then go over the results. After a few treatments, if it is due to neck or back issues, you should start to feel better.
