High liver enzymes, Uric Acid and Gout

Was on allopurinol (300mg) for two years and LFTs were monitored weekly and fine.
Then we didn't monitor for 6 months and LFTs were 100/60 (ALT/AST) say. Went off allopurinol completely for the last month and LFTs still elevated. Uric acid has crept up of course and now also elevated. No gout attacks as I take a colchicine every day.

I take BP medicine and 1 colchicine a day.
Firboscan = 6
Ultrasound shows some evidence of fatty liver.
Total Bili ok but on the high end of ok.

All other tests (hepatitis etc) are fine.

Any ideas? Dr wants to do a biopsy. I feel there is some connection here between uric acid and LFTs.
