Why do I have swollen ankles?

I'm a 30 year old female and I am not pregnant.  For the last 2 to 3 weeks my ankles have been extremely swollen.  Nothing in my life has changed for this to suddenly happen. I also have been getting heartburns or what I assume is heartburns a lot, at least once or twice a day.  I'm just not sure if this is something I should worry about and go to the doctor or if there's something I should be doing?

Swelling can be an indication of high blood pressure and other issues- I'd definitely go get it checked.  Let us know how you are!
