In 4 weeks I look 5 months Pregnant

Please Help... In 4 weeks I have gained 30 pounds and when you look at my stomache I have that hard basketball pregnant look.  (I'm a mom of three and it feels exactly the same)

I have my tubes tied, the lining of my uterius has been removed by laser,

I have been to my GYN who did an internal ultrasound and a pregnancy test...both were fine.(He was stumped)
I went to my pain Doc since I have been on meds for depression, anxiety, coiled brain anerysium headache pain, and bulging disks.  He gave me a Liver Toxicity test and it was fine. (He was Stump)
I went to my General Dr, since she has known me for so long she only knows me to be 100 lbs. She gave me a CT scan....  Everyone is stumped.  By appearence it's not a fat stomach and I don't know what brought it on so suddenly.

Sorry to go on and on, however with the way my Drs have reacted, I feel like I'm in the company of the man having a baby and the mom having 8 babies!!

Please, if you have any ideas....

So much appreciation for reading this,

Linda

"Ascites" (fluid retention in the abdomen) is infamous for causing the pregnant belly look but that usually comes from a sick liver or pancreas. If your doctor did a iver panel and all looks well, then probably not though. Just wanted to give you one more thing to Google! Best of luck.

I had a similar situation when I was taking some particular medications, I gained 40 pounds in a year, bloated up something awful, I was miserable.  No one knew what was wrong.  So, I thought about my medications, which I take a few similar to you, and the side effects on them suggested they had done the damage, so I had my doc switch to different kinds I had been on before, and I returned to normal in just a few months.  So, you and your doc should review all your meds and consider changing them.  The two that goofed me up were Lexapro and Ativan.  I now take Zoloft and Klonopin instead.  But other meds can cause a person to bloat up, too.

my sister had ovarian cancer and before she was diagnosed it looked like she was pregnant. Ovarian cancer is hard to detect so go to your dr and have them check you out.

You might have some food sensitivities or allergies, a bacterial overgrowth or even get checked for celiac.  Good luck.
