Loss of Appetite, Taste, Weight

I (male, 80) have achlorhydria (no stomach acid) which made me naseous and caused vomiting after meals. I was checked out by upper GI and stomach empty-ing test and ultrasound.Everything works allright except acid secretion.
My problem is lack of appetite, hunger and  taste.
I am taking acid tablets  (betainhydrochloride) and Pancreatin with every meal which corrects all previous problems such as nausea and vomiting after eating.
Since I can only eat moderate size meals, I hardly exceed 1,500 cal. a day which does not allow me to regain
my weight lost (10%) during the vomiting period.
What can I do to  1) Restart acid secretion
                           2) Develop appetite and hunger
                           3) Develop taste
                           4) Gain weight ?

I have this too, I regained my weight(I only slowed my eating, never vomited) by taking enough HCL after meals to make the LES close, since the reflux was what was bothering me the most. Maybe you are still not digesting your food because your dosages are too low. You would know because your feces would have strange unusual smells, and be of strange colors too! I take a very high dosage, which is approved by a naturopath, if you go too high, you will heartburn and vomit, so you can keep adding pills to each meal to see how many you can tolerate well. If yuor stomach feels a bit of a sting, or warmth, usually you've taken enough, but I take a whopping dosage, and it works! And now many vitamins too, apparently I'm severealy depleated. I'd also suggest taking protein supplimetns, ensure as well as maybe pills that are designed for muscle building that are protein combinations. I still have low protein issues in my blood.
