Nexium vs Prilosec

I have Barrett's Esophagus.  I am currently taking Nexium 40mg.  I am looking for ways to reduce the cost.  Do you think Prilosec will work the same?   However, I don't want to take any chances with the Barrett's Esophagus.  Thank you!!

Try going to pharmacychecker.com (they're endorsed by the AARP) and see about buying your drugs over the web. AstraZeneca sells a version of Nexium overseas called Neksium, which retails a bit cheaper.

Make sure to tell this to your doctor and show them whatever your receive. While they can't send the perscription for you in most cases, most will understand that cost is a factor.
