stoch pains, gas and permanent constipation...lipitor?

december 2006 started taking statins, lipitor.I do drink a few glasses of wine daily, but told the nurse this when I went for the glucose test and check up prior to prescription, so the GP knows this.
feb 2007 started with mild constipation, but more worryingly , slow down of urine flow, frequent loo visits,and a pain under left ribs
april 2007 saw GP to assess efficiency of statins, diagnosed with blood in urine, and sent to clinic for tests.
blood in urine re-confirmed, sent for kidney and prostate scans, meanwhile consipation worsened, stopped the lipitor in case related.
june 2007 small bulge to the left of belly button came up, saw GP who gave me 2 weeks of movicol for constipation, no improvement. A week later , started with constant belching and farting, belly blew up like a balloon......GP put me on bisocodyl laxatives whilst awaiting lower bowel endoscopy .Meanwhile previous tests came back normal.
Bisocodyl started with 2 tablets per day (maximum as per box instructions), after 2 weeks they stopped working and increased to 3, again after 2 weeks they stopped working and increased to 4, this doseage worked.
Had endoscopy and barium enema, results came back in November 2007 normal.

Went back to GP, who changed me from bisocodyl to fibre gel (bulking agent), as all I passed was liquid.Struggled with this , switching back to bisocodyl every couple of weeks as the fibre gel stopped working. Started getting strange smells, and drinks had a scented tast, pains to left of belly button and under ribs got quite bad, had uncontrollable belching attacks,sometimes lasting for several hours , belly was gradually getting bigger and bigger, put on a stone in weight .April 2008 went back to GP, sent me to see gastroenterologist, saw him in July 2008, said he thought that the nerve endings in bowel not working and that I had a bacterial infection, he gave me metronidazole antibiotics, and took blood samples.Also told me never to take fibre gel, to take as many bisocodyl as was needed combined with movicol.
Antibiotics worked, pain reduced, smells tastes and belching went, belly reduced quite a bit, and lost weight.
Went in October 2008 for test results......liver normal, kidneys normal, thyroid normal......told me I had ideopathic constipation and to stay on bisocodyl permanently and go back in a year but....
I still have pains like a toothache in my belly,bloating, 4 bisocodyl now stopping working, moved up to 5, started with belching again, and still only pass liquid.....shouldn't I have and an endoscopy of the upper GI tract?

I have the same problem but from what I have read most doctors say that Lipitor doesn't cause hematuria (blood in urine).  But some credible webpages say it could cause "dark-colored urine" (which in my mind could be "blood in urine"!)
