Reacuring server upper pulling pain around behind the stomach area

I don't want to take painkillers anymore. Fever I don't get and never had. Last week about the same time as today, I drove myself to the Hospital, they made Tests, but everything was normal. Y does this pain in the upper right, behind the stomach is so server, that I fell, I have to through up, but never can? This pain started a month ago and is now waking me up once a week @ 2 am & last's about a few hours. I also was diagnosed from Head to Toe with Arthritis, only on the right side. I'm 66 years old. A half an hour ago I drank 3 sip of water and the pain is still there, but not so server anymore.
