Shiitake mushrooms dermatitis and intestine

Hi, just after eating a single raw shiitake rehydratated mushroom while slicing the others for cooking, I developed the day after a  mild, I presume, episode of shiitake dermatitis. Rash, itching, red bumpings on trunk and legs.  No other symptoms.I hope and presume that in a week the symptoms will vanish. . Medical articles related to shiitake toxicity, supposedly  based on secretion of interleukin-1 and other inflammatory cytokines ,  say that there is not  mucous membrane (oral? )involvment. But I am worried that the toxin causing the dermatitis could ,even in a single ingestion episode (nevermore shiitake !) cause, during the intestine pass trough, also some sort of inflammation at the colon and/or small intestine linings, seeding so the start of polyps, and so more serious health problems….

Any helpful thought ? Thanks.

I'm not familiar with this problem, but a good tonic to take to control inflammation is Nigela sativa oil.  You could take it daily for a couple of weeks.

Thanks .
Luckily the skin problems are not serious and I hope in a full recovery in a week. My doubt is related to a hypotethical ( not symptomatic) gut envolvement.
