hi. So, this is a polyp in your stomach? Those are usually harmless. Inflammation in the stomach can be a cause and gastritis can cause the inflammation. This very well could be what is going on. It's been removed which is good. Polyps are not cancer but in very rare (very rare in regards to the stomach), they can turn into cancer. Did they mention the word Adenomas? Those are sometimes looked into a little further than a polyp. Most polyps are removed as a precaution.
