whats causing this pain

i have suffered with mild indigestion pain since the birth of my first son, now 3yrs, which i have been taking omerprazole.but the past 2 weeks i have had a severe pain in the centre of upper abs between breast bone and navel.
it starts first thing in the morning with bad nausea when i get out of bed, eases off for a while then returns as soon as i eat or have a large drink, tea, water etc.
sometimes the pain moves to the left side just under the ribs and sometimes the back.
im constantly burping which is very difficult when your a singer and have to drink loads which makes the pain worse.
last night when at work was the worst pain ever, even after taking lansprazole, buscapan and colofac MR, which i take for IBS the pain didnt ease at all.
these attacks seem to be getting more frequant now and im in agony.

went and had abdominal scan 5 months ago and all organs were fine except for a small simple cyst on left ovary.
went back to g.p and told me to just carry on taking all the tablets for a bit longer.
i so want to get this sorted as i can be in agony most of the time.

funny enough my husbands having he's gallbladder removed in a few weeks and is off tomorrow for an endoscopy to see if he has a heitus hernia (sorry about spelling)
he's been on lansprazole for years.
i've seen him go through severe pain over the past yr and dont wanna be like that.

i never had any problems like this untill i got pregnant, started off with bad heart burn.

i wonder if this pain is caused by alot of stress ive had the past three years been through depression and was on antidepressents for 2 and a half yrs.

all i know is that when i get this pain it's just totally unbearable.

i have the exact same issues you state! except mine started after my gallbladder removal 3years ago.  they have found nothing wrong!  scans are normal.  amylase is mildy elevated but has been that way since before i had gallbladder out.  it's frustrating and scary. just wanted to let you know i understand.  i'm a 31yo single mom and it gets very trying at times.

I have experienced that as well. Time to get a new doctor! There are ones that will listen, but it may take trying out a few. Good luck and don't give up. I've been searching for answers to my problems for 2 years. Seems you really have to be your own advocate.

Sounds like it could be an ulcer. I'd call the doctor.
