do I need proof?

I just had a perofated colon from a routine colonoscopy last Fri. I spent 4 days in the hosipal being treated with antibiotics,so far I'm feeling symptom free. I have a recheck tomorrow(Fri). What I need to know is do I need another CT scan to prove that it is healed?

I just had a colonoscopy last week myself, and I always feared a perforation.  Did they just treat you with antibiotics.  Usually they do surgery to take a piece out and do a resection.  What did they actually do to repair your perforation.  I know some people have had to have a temporary bag until it healed.  I would think that they would re-check you to be sure it is healed like you said.
Ask questions.  You are the patient, and it is your body not theirs.

His first approch was the antibotics,he said sometimes if they are small they will heal,he could go in there but if the hole was small they might never find it,so drugs first.I got better in a few days in the hospital, sent home with a few more days of antibotics, recheck tomorrow.  I'm just worried about after the drugs wear off will it open again or did it seal up. I think I will say do another test.
You would know if they did that to you I hurt that night and it got worst the next day. I didn't wait any longer and went to the ER,CT scan found free air which told them a perforation.
