MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi, persistent cough may not be related to chronic gastritis. There is an entity called Cough-variant asthma. It’s usually a dry, hacking cough that may worsen following exercise, talking, laughing or crying. It is not usually associated with wheezing or shortness of breath. Have yourself evaluated for the same. This can be detected by a spirometry test. Please discuss this with your doctor am sure he will provide further assistance. Regards.
