rectal bleeding

I am 45 years old, was treated for h-pylori , had first colonoscopy and endoscopy 2 and half years ago. They found one small polyp, removed it)  and no more h=pylori. Since then I had one episode of rectal bleeding and it stopped. However this morning I had a loose stool and lots of blood in toilet. The blood was red. went to bathroom again and nothing. However I suffer from anxiety. I made an appointment with gastro doc. I guess I am looking for others who may have gone through something similar to calm me down.

Any replies would be appreciated
thanks

Did you ever find an answer to your problem? I'm having the same issue. Rectal bleeding, had a colonoscopy 2 years ago. They found a polyp, I need another one in a year.

If you are having rectal bleeding, it might be wise to get it checked unless you are SURE it's the polyps or more likely a fissure or hemorrhoid.  My husband has the roids! Is the blood in your stool or when you wipe?
