Acid reflux - Plicator procedure

Hi i suffer from LPR, and it is really destroying my quality of life. Every morning i wake up with a choking sensation and the whole day is spent with a constant sensation of something stuck in my throat. Nexium provides relief sometimes, but most of the days i spend in misery.
LPR is defnintely worse than GERD, as even small amounts of acid can damage the throat. Has anyone in here tried the Plicator procedure (http://www.ndosurgical.com/)

I have a friend who had the plicator procedure about 3 months ago and she is suffering misserble everyday with side effects of extreme burning in throat, chest, arms, legs, & stomac......she regrets ever having this procedure done!.....ps. This procedure may work for some people and not for others!.......hope this helps you to decide whats best for you and also get more than one doctors opinion!.....God Bless!
