I am a 69 year old female and have been suffering from nausea for the past 8 weeks.  This is only felt in my head.  From the neck down - I feel great.

I have been sent for an ultra sound scan and an xray of my stomach - but nothing has shown up!  My blood work is also normal.  I now have an apt with a consultant in Gastroentterolgy.

I am anxious and confused as the symptom of nausea is in my head only.  I do go very pale after eating though.

Please can you help?

I have not been told anything! Yes the nausea symptoms are just felt in my head. My eyes also feel puffy and as if they are trying to close.
I was very well before this sudden onset and I am not depressed or anxious.
I do suffer from psoriasis but this causes no real problems for me.
I am worried it might be the big 'C' as everything seems to come back normal and the nausea is everyday!

Hm.  What do you mean nausea in your head?  It sounds terrible but am not exactly sure what you mean.  

Are they thinking that you have depression/anxiety and one of the symptoms is nausea?  Are they telling you they are having difficulty finding a cause of the nausea?
