Hello~I am sorry you are suffering with vertigo, it is no fun, I have it too at times.
I think one thing that might be the cause is having your neck out of alignment, I see a chiropractor for mine and it helps immensely, I would certainly try one, he/she will take some x-rays of your neck, study them and then go over the results with you. After a few treatments, you should start to feel better.
A vitamin deficiency can also cause vertigo, you may be low in the B vitamins and minerals. I would try a good B complex along with a good multi-mineral.
Believe it or not, clenching your teeth may also be contributing to the issue. You might be unconsciously holding your jaw tight, this in turn can cause the balancing mechanisms in your ear to possibly pinch nerves that cause the vertigo. Also, you could have a TMJ issue. TMJ, or Temporomandibular Joint, can cause inflammation of the jaw joint many times affecting the middle or inner ear. The middle ear contains the vestibular nerve and other important parts that are responsible for maintaining the body’s sense of balance. This situation is treatable and the symptoms can be reversed in the care of a dentist with experience treating TMJ.
I hope you find relief soon, it is no fun.
I would go to an ENT specialist. Vertigo is often caused by inner ear issues. Anxiety does not help either. Do not worry just take deep breaths better times are on the horizon!(:
