Ankles almost constantly aching and flat foot getting worse?

Hello, everyone.  Recently, I've been having ankle problems.  They are near-constantly aching and or/sore, tender, etc.  I have been diagnosed with flat foot, and it has been getting worse as of recently (the ankles are beginning to cave in more, and when walking around the house I have to always make sure to balance the weight and pressure more on the outer end of the soles of my foot).  Just to get around now, I have to wear support slippers and sandals.  My family has a history of psoriatic arthritis and other forms, but it's uncommon for someone of my age to be diagnosed.  I cannot think of any reasons other than my flat foot; I have not overused my ankles, nor kept them unused for too long.  Any idea on what's happening, and maybe if I can get help?
