thank you for that. i never knew it could take 2 years! i know the brain can recover from lots of things, afterall things like caffeine - is one of the most abused drugs yet people recover from it
IMO, i don't think your permanently damaged. With trams, it can take anywhere from 6 months to two years for your brain to rewire itself. I know exactly what your going through, I know your probably thinking it's never ending, but it is. It will only get better from here. Best wishes!!
so you recovered? its been 13 months of trams for me and still no buzz from alcohol, im scared im damaged for life
Hi!! Congrats on getting off those trams!! I was addicted to them for years, very hard to come off of, to say the least. In my experience, it took a while for my brain to "rewire" itself. I don't drink that often (once or twice a year), but shortly after detoxing from trams, it seemed like I had to drink a lot to even get a buzz, however, that changed, so be careful. Me and Jose Cuervo are no longer friends, lol!!! Take care!
thank you, that was powerful, i definitely had some dark times on tramadol, i feel ever worse now knowing its done something to my brain
At the top of the page look under communities and you will get a drop down which lists all the diff groups. I hesitated telling you because I dont want you to go away. But hey you could be a member of both. Please dont be put off by the previous response. M H saved my life and I hope you will feel the same way in the future.
Keep posting and progressing.

Hey I'm so glad you came back!! You are more than welcome to stay here and talk. The alcoholism forum is the one I was referencing. You don't have to be an alcoholic, just thought they may have an answer. This forum is probably the best for you so please don't be put off. How are you feeling today?

Hi, this is a substance abuse forum. No offense but it's not for finding one's lost buzz.
If you think you have a problem w/ substances, this is the place to find help.
