Concerns about Medication

I am a 25 year old male. Recently I have started taking a small dose of finasteride due to a family history of MPB. But whenever I do take the medication I immediately (within 30 seconds) feel lightheaded, lethargic, have a reduction in mental clarity (brain fog), and sometimes feel nausea's. I don't know if this possible within such a short time frame. Also I usually do not feel fully recuperated until the following morning. I don't want to quit the medication just yet, and I don't know what I can do to prevent feeling like this. As I should be experiencing no side effects on such a small dose. Is there any possible reason, or anything I can do to help my situation?

Hello, 30 seconds seems rather fast for a reaction, but the fact that it last all day causes me to think that you are indeed having some type of reaction to it. I would certainly stop taking it until you talk to your prescribing GP or pharmacist and let them know what is occurring.
