For the last month I will randomly get a tight pain in my upper left chest near my shoulder, under my shoulder blade, and my left arm. I was originally worried it may be Angina or a Heart Attack. I went into the ER and got a ECG and Chest X-Rays, and everything looked good including my Cholesterol and Blood Pressure. They gave me some muscle relaxants thinking it was a pulled or torn muscle, but it doesn’t seem to be getting any better. I’m still getting some pain in my upper chest, back, and now forearm. These do feel better if I rub them or put heat on it. But its been almost 2 months and doesn’t seem to be getting any better. I’m not sure if it could still be something heart related, and I wonder if I should make another Cardiologist appointment or go back to the ER. I could use some advice or insight on what this could be and what I should do.
P.S.
I should mention I am overweight (been riding my bike 5 miles every other day for 4 months now and no pain or shortness of breath when working out) and I am 24 years old(My family does have a history with heart problems).
