Hi, I hope you feel better soon. It will probably take a few weeks to regain the weight. Try to eat normally, and maybe even add a few more "treats" this should help you regain the lost weight. Gosh, I wish I could loose weight that easily, no matter how sick I am, it doesn't come off, if anything, I gain.

Gosh, sorry so sick. It does take time to get over the flu. You lost a bunch of weight but start back slowly getting your strength. Hydrate, make calories count. Get rest when you need it. Post flu fatigue can last two or more weeks. But you WILL recover. Eat normally. It just takes a bit to bounce back.

Sounds more like a kind of stomach flu or infection than the usual flu. Regardless, it must have been very unpleasant for you. It does take a couple of weeks to recover from an infection that has laid you out like that. I wouldn’t worry about weight: you will regain that gradually as you eat better. It’s important to have fluids and enough variety of foods to get the minerals, vitamins and electrolytes your body needs. I’m sure you will feel better soon. Just don’t push it and let your body take the lead with what it can do. Take care
