URIC ACID

Hi....I have a question regarding Uric acid....on 3rd june due to elevated sugar levels i got my uric acid checked and that was 6.5.....Doctors gave me some tablet for that to use for one month....on 20th July i get my uric acid checked and that was 5.8......Today i gef my urric acid checked again and it comes up 8.2.....I wang to know that is it possible for uric acid to jump by 3 points in 20 days.....

Hello and welcome to the forum. Thanks for the question. High uric acid can be caused by a number of issues as you will not in this link  https://www.mayoclinic.org/symptoms/high-uric-acid-level/basics/causes/sym-20050607.  Please read through and see if anything rings a bell.  Do you have any other health issues?  Are you over weight? Do you consume alcohol? How is your diet? Is your thyroid functioning properly? Several things can factor into a high uric acid level and it is in your best interest to work with your doctor to determine the underlying cause.  You are not far out of normal, but ARE out of normal range.  When do you next see your doctor?
