How long can swelling last after stubbing my little toe?

The day after, my little toe looked like a black olive. It's been 11 days. While the bruise has all but been absorbed, the toe is still swollen specially on the underside and there still mild pain that comes and goes. I don't think it's broken, I can flex and spread my toes.

Just because you can move it, doesn’t mean it’s not broken.  My foot was broken in 2 places and I could still move my toes, etc.  If you believe your toe is broken, you need to have it x-rayed to make sure.  There isn’t anything they can do for broken toes, other than tape them, but at lease you’d  have a chance of it healing straighter than if you do nothing.

Hi, I agree with the above poster, it is wise to have it looked at and x-rayed, at least that way you will know for sure what is going on.
