I found a sting/thorn/not sure what else in my leg?

So I went on a long walk today with a couple of friends, we were walking through the village I live in and we walked along a field and through some woods. When i was taking my clothes off to change into pjs tonight I noticed something on my thigh. It was a small, white sharp object (not sure what to call it as idk what it was) sticking out of my skin. I tried to pull it out but it was painful and seemed to pull the skin up too. I managed to squeeze it out a little and then pulled on it and it was kind of sticky and gooey as it came out. I'm not even sure if it's all out as I still have a bump but it could also just be from irritation. When I squeezed the spot it was pulled from afterward, a clear liquid, some pus and a small amount of blood came out. As I said the object was very small and whitish in colour, obviously sharp enough to pierce my skin. If anyone has any idea what this might be, an answer would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou :)
