Well my last blood test by the doctor showed 95 so they said normal and my sugar for the last few Days ha been in the normal range so I'm going to safely say I can rule out blood sugar issues
Your numbers look fine to me. Have you been trying to loose weight?
Your best idea would be to see a GP for the OGTT (Oral glucose tolerance test) this will tell you pretty much what is going on, also, an A1C test, this will show what your blood sugars have been for the past three months. It is almost becoming the gold standard instead of the fasting test.
Thanks. Yesterday i took my BS almost 2 hours after i ate a high protein snack (170 cal, 1% carbs, 25% protein) and it was right on 100. This morning, about 8 hours after having a high carb snack, my sugar was 104. Not too concerned about getting D1 or D2, as it does not run in my family. but i rulled out bs issues causing another symptom.
On a side note, i have been losing weight, went from 255 at the start of the year to 206 this morning.
I have done numerous Google searches on this, and it is almost unanimous, the Fasting range should be between 60 and 99, 100 to 126 is "pre-diabetes" and 126 and above is "established diabetes". Just watch your diet and eat fewer carbs, and of course, cut back on the sugar. Those drinks are awfully high in sugar, and yes, they can give "spikes" meaning fast rise in sugar.
I might add, make sure your hands are washed thoroughly before taking the sample, even a little bit of sugary food or drink, can give higher readings.
your blood sugars are normal for none diabetic
my wife is a diabetic i played with her machine i get what your readings are
90s is a little low
but diabetics try for 100 range which is really hard im mad at my wife's doc gave her more meds
and now she gets to 60s and hast to eat sugar fast but its so hard for her to balance when diagnosed she was 400 shes lucks she didnt die or start loosing things
i work hard to keep her on it and around 200 something
good luck
