I get the same thing sometimes, and I know inhaling bleach odors can make it worse. What I find will help is a nebulizer (if inhaler is not working). Also, try to drink about 20oz of water every 30min, keeping hydrated can solve many problems.
from my experince i always drink honey, lemon, tea mixed together. also drinks lots of water to keep your throat moist
What kind of inhaler did the Dr. give you? If it's asthma, you need two types of inhaler-- one to treat your lungs long-term (doesn't give relief of cough/symptoms straight away, but is used every single day, usually morning AND night, to build up the strength of your lungs, decreasing the attacks of coughing and lessening the need of other inhaler) and a relief inhaler that is used on-the-spot when it's needed, i.e, when you're coughing so much you can't sleep, usually up to 4times a day.
Could you supply a little more information? Such as, do you have any known allergies eg. cats, dogs, pollens etc?
Did the doctor do any tests or call for any testing eg. x-rays or ultra sound ? A dry cough can be caused from living in conditions that are too dry. Are you drinking lots of water, dehydration can also promote coughing and other problems?
If you live in a city it could be air pollutants irritating your lungs.
It could even be your bed causing you problems.Betwee, the chemicals the beds are made from and the chemicals in bed sheets and detergents and fabric softners and perfumes added to them
you have a stew pot that you are sleeping in for several hours each day, 365 days of the year.
As you live in Spain there is no product I can recommend, but I can recommend a herb that may help you. It is called marshmallow and you can (hopefully) buy it in capsule form where they sell health foods. It is very safe to use, even for long periods of time.
