Pain in upper stomach

Hi guys - really hoping someone can help me.

I am a 30 year old male about 175 lbs and 6'1. I am having a pain that is tender to the touch in the middle upper stomach area. It is quite a bit above my belly button and right below my chest. I have no diarrhea, vomiting, fever, or really any other symptoms that may cause red flags outside of some minor constipation. I am eating normal and the pain is not there until I actually press on my stomach or bend my stomach awkwardly.

That said, I could be imagining here but I may be feeling a little bulge in that area if I press all the way in. Hoping its nothing serious but thinking of scheduling a doctors apt on Monday but I have no other symptoms so not sure if I should.

Any help would be great guys!

I wouldn't go to the dr...unless you were injured somehow. Otherwise you would have other symptoms accompanying them. And since it only hurts when you push on it, that means it's rebound pain in the tissues. If you get other symptoms, then I would watch it for a few days. If it doesn't improve then I would call the Drs office and talk to the nurse. And she can communicate with your dr and relay the information to ya. Hope it's all good

If it doesn't go away definitely get it checked. Did you try to treat at home?

I experienced something similar - felt bloated no bulging- and feel much better after some OTC meds and applying heat.

My spouse's experience lasted weeks.

Sure I know what a Hernia is so I can def go check that out.  What are the chances that this could be Gastritis as I have a bloated feeling and have some constipation?
