Painful feet constantly

I have constant pain and sweeling in feet. When arising after being off my feet any length of time it is very painful to put wieght on them and walk. I am 55 and overweight (305) 70" tall. Prior to the onset of weight, I was always a runner (active duty Navy) and now I can hardly stand to rise from setting, Any suggestions?

you say you have swellen on your feet and pain.this is not because something is wong with you legs.usually swelling and pain on feet is because of some other illness .that is why you have to see a doctor

Yes - you need to see your doctor!  Your pain may not even be a problem with your feet, but something else that is affecting your circulation, like diabetes for one example.  Hopefully it's nothing too serious, but it's always better to err on the side of caution.  If you haven't had a full physical in some time, now would be a good time to do that, so make an appointment tomorrow.  And thank you VERY much for your service!   :-)
