Recent grama to my jaw, and now my ear keeps going cold

So very early easter Sunday I had fallen trying to get my dog in and I hit face first (well teeth more accurately) on a 4x4. But anyway, the other side of my jaw started to hurt really bad, it was getting stiff and a little swollen. I went to the doctor, they did a CT and said it was probably just a sprian. My jaw is feeling better on and off since then but ever since my jaw will pop out alignment and the inside of ear goes cold, not to the touch but just a sensation. Then when I pop it back into alignment it goes away..its really weird and strangely uncomfortable.. Its starting effect my sleep, anyone ever heard of something like this?
