Discolored bump on inner thigh?

About a week ago, (not certain when it started showing up though) I discovered a lump on my inner thigh near my groin. It feels solid/firm and is discolored. It doesn't hurt or cause any sort of soreness. One source said it might be varicose veins, but I'm not sure. Any advice is helpful.

We can get lymph nodes there and when they are reactive, they swell into lumps.  We also can get cysts in that area.  It could be either of those.  If it doesn't hurt, I'd leave it along and see if it goes away.  If it doesn't, time to see your primary care doc for evaluation.  good luck and let us know how it turns out!
