Thank u very much for posting a reply.yes I showed the results to pediatrician .the doctor said the report is normal and I need not worry.such reports r normal of his age group and that with viral infection it can go even higher.otherwise the child is active.

Hi again,
I did some more extensive searching and at 12 months old a child has normally about 60% lymphocytes so 70% is not that high. The lymphocyte count goes back down to 40% or so around 6 years old. The white count is slightly elevated but could be due to a cold, or even the injection. I wouldn't worry that much. The lymphocytes do go up after vaccination but usually not for 4-6 weeks after vaccination. If you still feel uncomfortable call you doctor to confirm that this is ok. I wonder why did he have the CBC done was he ill or having any problems.
take care,

It is possible you son had an immune response and it changed his cell count. I would repeat the CBC but i'm not sure how long to wait since there results are obviously not good if they are not due to the vaccine. Have you discussed the results with the doctor  or clinician who prescribed them? I would follow up with a doctor on this to be sure and find out how long to wait before rechecking the CBC.
