Pain in the pelvic area?

I have a dull aching pain in pelvic area.  I dont know what it is. Its not the pelvis itself, its kind of in between the left side and the center of the pelvis. The pain will last for up to five hours or more.  Ive taken ibuprofren, ive used icyhot, ive taken a hot shower, ive drank plenty of water and i cant get ANY relief. Does anyone have any idea what this could be?

I'm not able to go to the doctor to see what's wrong.  Believe me, if I could go I would.  But the pain has stopped.  I haven't hurt since the day I first posted here. Perhaps I was constipated or having a muscle cramp?

Hello and Welcome to the Pain Management Forum. I am sorry to hear about your pain.

Have you consulted your PCP? Have you had a clinical evaluation, tests or the like done? Pelvic, lower abd pain can have so many sources that it's difficult to guess. I encourage you to consult your physician and the sooner the better.

We also have a Forum for undiagnosed symptoms that will probably be better suited for your question. Please know that you are always welcome at the PM Forum but another forum may offer you additional suggestions/help. Here's the link:

I hope you will let us know how your appointment turns out. We'll look forward to your updates.

Take Care,
