OK, so I recently developed a cough that's dry, and feels bronchial in nature. I think it might be related to a new medication I started (olmesartan); however, I'm more interested in the pain that I get in my arm. I've had it in the past when I had similar coughs.
It's a very specific, sharp pain that occurs only in the left arm above the elbow. It's positioned medially along the bicep near the distal biceps tendon almost to where the triceps is. If I were looking at an anatomical map of my left arm, it would be JUSTTTT over the median, ulnar, medial antibrachial and brachial cutaneous nerves of the upper arm.
The pain stops at that spot and does not radiate down the arm. It does not occur above the spot or anywhere else. It is very pinpoint and sharp just to that area. There's no bruising. The pain started to occur a little bit after the cough came on and worsened. No pain with movement.
Does anybody have any clue what the hell this is? Is it a nerve thing from my neck?
