If a person has a vitamin K deficiency, excessive gum bleeding can happen with cleaning or with getting a tooth out. Is this the type of trouble your daughter is having?

You might want to look up Lichen Planus on your computer. Lichen can cause mouth ulcers and white patches.... I hope that's not what she has - but it is treatable.
If they are blisters, called cold sores, those are caused by the herpes simplex virus, which can be caught from others. Please see private message for more on this, including tips on how to prevent them.
If they are canker sores, this often can be caused by acidic foods in my family, so avoiding offending foods that trigger them is one way to try to prevent them. You might also try to find out through your doctor if she has H. pyloria bacteria, which might be a factor in getting canker sores. See private message about possible other causes of canker sores.
Try vitamin K--if on inside of mouth--helped my gum problems after many visits to gum specialists and medications that didn't work. Remembered a dr. giving vit. K to me 30+ years ago for mouth problems after taking anti biotices.
Well that is if you are referring mouth ulcers to cold sores? And are they on the lips or inside the mouth? If they are on the lips they are cold sores and It has always been my experience to developed them when I am under a lot of stress, they never go away, I found that picking out 30 minutes of your day to meditate and relaxe helps. But if they they are inside the mouth they are canker sores and swishing with warm salt water, and eating yogurt helps with that.
