The easiest first scan I would ask to have performed is an ultrasound.

Welcome to the Hepatitis C Community.  This forum is for questions about medical issues and research aspects of Hepatitis C and so forth.

Abdominal pain doesn't mean you have Hepatitis C. If HCV is suspected based on other observations and/or test or possible prior exposure then your doctor will test for HCV.  There is a high probability something else is causing your abdominal pain. Your doctor is in the best position to offer advice, offer other test(s) and/or referral to a specialist if necessary.

Just about everybody at one point or another will experience abdominal pain. Most of the causes are not serious and can be readily diagnosed and treated. However, pain can also be a sign of a serious illness. It's important to be able to recognize symptoms that are severe and know when to call a doctor.

If you haven't been diagnosed with HCV this may be a better forum to browse, search and ask questions.

Best of luck with resolving your concerns and pain.  The members here are not doctors and can only offer their non-medical opinions.
