Most Primary care doctors and ER doctors in the US have failed the people who they treat. Example If David went to the ER for severe abdominal pain symotons also include blood in stools, temp of 103 and feel dizziness, and has a horrible cough and looks congested. The ER doctor will say "you need to do a follow up with GI doctor. Then the nurse will say why would you come into the ER for this? David says "I am in severe pain" and stools look like dark red.. I feel just sick... So if your arm isnt cut off or you
or not having a heart attack.. that is what they mean.. The doctors are extremely lazy, you must tell them I wat this CT .
This is the problem the primary care doctors and the ER doctors is that they want do minimal workup as possible then they give you a referral to the specialist. What I dont
like is that
I have consulted my physician regarding this problem and as usual the response is " You can't feel pain from your kidneys!"
I have mentioned this to other doctors in the past and their response is the same. Their responses to my enquiries regarding thalassamia have been also very inadequate, however through the years more information is more readily available on net.
We recommend that you visit your physician if you are experiencing pain or discomfort.
