Dear Doctor
I've been exposed to HIV 47 days ago... my exposure was oral sex...i had oral sex with a shemale.... she gave me oral sex without a condom then i put on a condom but i freaked out and didn't penetrate then she took off the condom and gave me more oral sex (blow-job) till i came inside her mouth.... and these was some french kissing involved as well
and i've did these tests:
-HIV Ag/Ab after 13 days - NEGATIVE-CMIA
-HIV Ag/Ab after 38 days - Negative - CMIA
my question is:
1- Do i have to repeat this test now that i'm in the 47th day of exposure?
2- Is the CIMA better or the ELISA... or they are both the same thing?
Thanks in advance
Glad to have u back, any question for hiv getitright is the best n i assist him.
Cmia is using a elisa method testing.
Oral sex is zero risk for hiv but for gonorhea, syphlis n other std may got a little chance for transmited.
Test for other std.s
You never had a risk and freylims advice was spot on and accurate. No Hiv concern but test for more common STD,s.Don't let Hiv anxiety make you think irrationally.
Dear Doctor
reading this site...make me curios about HIV more.beside the infection way that were mentioned..i have a question...if some one`hand or other part of body bleed..and the blood contact with HIV virus directly, will a person be infected?or hiv become deactivate in the air?how much time does it take to be deactivate?
can it be a way in risk?
