Senz,
You are in a position that I envy.
You have had an exposure almost a year ago, you have no symptoms other than a white coated tongue, and you have 2 negative tests at 9 and 10 months out. You are definitely, absolutely HIV negative!
I have had several symptoms (including white coated tongue, still today) , sebhorreic dermatitis, xerostomia (Dry mouth), weight loss etc, all of which had me petrified i had HIV..but i have around  7 negative tests, from 3 weeks to 15 weeks post exposure. This includes 5 highly sensitive DUO tests.
If I can trust my results (and I am 99% there), then you CERTAINLY can trust your results!

fafa999 is correct.

CDC's hotline is manned by minimally educated persons with no health background, following scripts. Never, ever rely on them for diagnostic or clinical advice. Only see a doctor.

Forget HIV and please stop asking about it. The answers never will change, no matter now strongly you apparently want to hear that you really might have HIV. Sorry, but you don't.

Drop it Man U negative! U tested way out of the window period. A white coated tongue can be due to so many thing. I do have one since years. It is often related to poor acid reflux, smoking  and alcohol consumption.

wantonjoe & HowardH , thanks for your feedback. Appreciate your time. I have no other symptom other than white coated toungue, but looking at some of the archived note in body.com I am little bit worried. Some tested +ve after 6 months. No matter I trust my 2 -ve results there is something which keeps me worried. I ended up calling CDC and asked if I need to take any additional test, they recommended a RNA test to rule out HiV , but the representative whom I spoke just read the HiV guidelines and I don't think they are experienced in sex education. Do you see a need of such test ? Is there any historical case who tested +ve after 10 months? FYI, I took a test through STD test express and the sample was collected by labcorp twice. I know the stigma towards HIV risk is bit concerned no matter the test is -ve, but just checking with experts like you who can guide us to a correct life harmony.  Again. Appreciate your time. Thanks in advance.

Don't worry about HIV. As long as HIV testing is done sufficiently long after the last exposure (usually 4-8 weeks), the result always overrules symptoms and exposure history, no matter how typical the symptoms seem to be and no matter how high the risk was at the time. Always, no exceptions ever. And as wantonjoe says, innumerable minor health issues cause coated tongue.

White coated tongue can have several causes, many of them benign.
A negative test at 9 months and 10 months is conclusive proof you are HIV negative. There is no way you could have received a false negative, as you tested twice and the same negative result came both times.
See a dentist about your tongue.
