Oral sex, protected or unprotected, is not a risk for HIV.
You had protected anal sex, and the key word is "protected." You did not have a risk of contracting HIV from that encounter.
HIV risks in adults are:
Unprotected, penetrative anal or vaginal sex
Sharing IV drug works with other IV drug users
If you do neither of those activities, you will not have to worry about HIV.
Hi, thank you for your response it is highly appreciated. My worrying began as I was drunk and had to ask wether she was protected. She has assured me she did and claims to never do dirty sex and assured me she wore one. I know I maybe being irrational but this is crippling me. How can I move past this fear and get my life back? Also if after 4 weeks I have no symptoms do you think I should purchase a home test kit. I just want to be okay and have peace of mind after an act so out of character for me.
