Move on you never had an exposure and didn't need testing.
Thank you for replying :)
Can I ask why the ELISA is specifically recommended at 3 months?
How is the ELISA any different or better than the antibody portion of the HIV Duo test?
1. Following a very low risk encounter, is a 6 week HIV-Duo negative result considered to be conclusive?
it is unlikely your negative result after 6 weeks will be positive after that , but the doctors say that for the conclusive result you should wait 3 month and get a ELISA hiv test .
2-yes , it would , but not always
3-It depends many items (how did somebody infected and how quantity of virus Enter in the body and etc )
4- more likely it detectable after 6 weeks (more than 95%) ,
and after 8 weeks the chance of detecting is 97% and at the end of 12th week its 99.99%
