Any possibility at all my 3 month negative could be wrong? Petrified!

So...may 14 I had brief protected sex with a Thai case in the U.K.. Was so drunk can't recall if condom broke as she removed it so quickly. Not sure if I wiped my penis with same tissue/wet wipe as her afterwards also. Few days after I began to feel unwell, then in cores the time frame for seroconversion I got ill with most of this typical symptoms particularly itchy chest, back and neck ache and swollen glands in armpits and groin. Had a full std check at local gum clinic in U.K. all clear at 1wk. 28 days had all std checks again along with hiv duo test, negative. Almost 8wks had private duo test, negative. Almost 10wks had rapid finger prick test, negative. 12wks another rapid, another negative and finally another private test at same clinic as before although not sure what type of hiv test it was but again negative. All this time I've felt unwell with sore throat, cough, back and neck ache, dry patches of skin on feet and back, recurring mouth ulcers and this very weird pain or tensing in my forearm muscles. Generally just feel horrendous, tired, in a daze and foggy vision throughout the day. To top this off my wife recently got ill and that's sent me into panic mode as I'm afraid I could've infected her. Also had pain or jaw ache or not sure if it's swollen glands in my cheek or if it's muscular. The private doctor, nurse at the gum clinic and where I had the Rapids done and also my GP have all tried to reassure me that I don't have HIV or any blood born virus for that matter but something just doesn't feel right. I've been for normal blood tests once, came back as normal. My questions are:
1. Is there any way at all that my test results could be incorrect as my body just doesn't feel right?
2. Should I go for another test? I'm just so scared that I have it I almost don't want to test again for fear of it coming back positive.
3. Surely I can't be making all of this up? these feelings, particularly in my forearms are very really and have been here for a while now.
Any help or advice please?

Hello, we are sorry that your negative test result at 12 weeks does not reassure you that you do not have HIV.  However, we concur with the CDC that you can rely on the results of a test taken at 12 weeks.  We are now closing this thread and wish you the best.

According to the CDC and all International guidelines, a negative HIV test at 12 weeks post exposure can be considered 100% conclusive.
I can't help you with your anxiety nor will I argue about the guidelines. You do NOT have HIV, but if you can't accept that, then test again whenever your various other websites tell you to or until you can finally accept it.
I have a better chance of YOU buying ME a Lamborghini  than your 3 month negative test turning positive at 6 months....

Hi Rubywitch. I read this article and it's convinced me again. I've got all of these symptoms (had them before I read the article) although the jaw pain or swollen parotid symptom seems to have been magnified since I read it....

I can't cope. Not sure what's for the best, another test or soldiering on but when does it end. Just wish these symptoms would go but they won't.

You tested out past 12 weeks for HIV and every single test was negative.
YOU DO NOT HAVE HIV

Your STD test at 28 days also showed negative.

Symptoms are NEVER used to diagnose HIV.

I am NOT a doctor nor a psychologist, but I believe many, if not all, of your symptoms are being driven by anxiety and guilt.

I strongly suggest you speak with your doctor about your symptoms and your anxiety.
All of your tests prove you do not have HIV or an STD.
Get help.

Thanks for the reassuring respins Thank you for the reassuring response. I can't really explain it even though it says that a result is conclusive at 3mons post exposure I just don't feel right. I've read so much and coupled with the weird prolonged symptoms particularly the forearm tension and aching jaw etc I can't seem to accept it. Contemplating going for another test but I'm almost too scared for fear of it being positive. Have you ever heard of a 3 month test being incorrect?

Forgot to say that I've also had a weird sensation mainly in hands and maybe the face that I'm very sensitive, like if my hand scrapes something or I scratch my face it's much more noticeable than usual. Have regular pins and needles also. Went for more blood tests today. Not hiv ones though
