Accuracy of Dna Pcr test while on Pep

Hi i did a Dna Pcr Test three weeks after a possible exposure i started Pep and three weeks later i did the test the result came back negative it only tested for Hiv 1 , the doctor told me not to worry and the DNA Pcr qualitative test is final but from what i saw on the internet i got really scared i stopped Pep at 27 days but i really wonder is this test final or Pep can delay the window period ?
