alere 4th generation hiv test accuracy

Hi experts,

I'm wondering how accurate is the alere 4th generation hiv test (finger prick test) at 40 days? Is it conclusive since it is not a lab blood test?

I had unprotected sex with a female which I'm not sure about her status, it was a one night stand, 41 days ago.
Afterwards I took an alere 4th generation hiv test at 16 days came back negative and then I went and took the same test yesterday and came back negative.

Do I need to take a lab blood test just to be sure?

You should consider your test accurate and conclusive.  There is no need to re-test.
