Being anaemic affect hiv test result?

Does bring iron deficient and anaemic have any impact on a 4th generation hiv test result? The fact that anaemic means having less blood, make any difference to hiv antibodies and antigens?

French Kissed someone who later told me he was  positive
You had no risk then.
@Curfew can you also please confirm there was no risk?
JeffKaio is correct.  Kissing is NEVER a risk for HIV, no matter what.
Great thank you!

No, and you can get answers to any question about medication, interactions and tests from the manufacturer, because they are required to have this info for people who use their products.

Well I have no idea what test it was or who was the manufacturer and to approach my lab and ask them and then email the manufacturer etc seems like too much of a process. So that’s why I came here as I’ve seen lots of people ask similar questions so I assumed you guys have the knowledge. So just to be absolutely sure, anaemia doesn’t affect an antigen/antibody test right?

1. Reread about no.
2. I just let you know you can get the info from them for next time.
..from them for next time you have any question about a medical contraindication.
