A close call?

Hi,
I recently met a guy that he told me he hadnt gone for his regular test for a year plus. I regretted doing anal fun with him. It was a protected anal sex. But it worries me that when he did not go for test for so long and he sometimes takes preps on demand. Should I be worried or go for a test?
I cant sleep and currently shuddered at the thought of having contacted with Hiv.

You can't get hiv when you use a condom. If a condom fails it rips down the seam and both people always notice because the ring makes it hard to remove so that didn't happen. Move on to your normal life and stop worrying.

What if he has the virus and i didnt know. Would it still be safe nt to test? Sry i really am paranoid now
Your question doesn't make sense.  Of course he would have to have the virus in order to transmit it to you, so AnxiousNoMore's answer of "no risk" is based on your partner having the virus.

A condom that does not VISIBLY rip during intercourse protects you from HIV.  You had no risk and there is no reason to test.
Thanks for your clarification and reassurance. Really appreciate.
