Blood/Saliva with blood flew into mouth with sore, bleeding gum, sore throat...

Hi guys,

It had been some horrible days for me and I am so anxious and nervous.

Last week, I was riding my motorbike on the way around a lake in my city, talking and laughing to my friend sitting behind me. Suddenly, when I touched my tongues around my front teeth, I felt “wet” liquid in my two front teeth. I am not sure if it had been some liquid flown into my mouth or it's my own saliva after talking and laughing with my friend.

There are also some other motorbike riders going in front of me, around 4-5 metres in distance (10-15ft). What I am afraid, the liquid must be the spit with blood, or pure blood of someone riding motorbike in front of me that flown into my teeth/mouth. I don't know them and their status but in worst case maybe they were infected.

I felt so stupid now that I did not look into the mirror to check if there was any red spot like blood on my teeth/inner mouth. I just remembered my two lips are still dry, but maybe the liquid get into my teeth/mouth while I was laughing and open my mouth. Even worse, at that time I had a little sore throat and a sore inside my mouth (from drinking lots of beers within the week I guess). Also sometime I got bleeding gum. I am afraid the saliva with blood and blood had touched my gum, my inner mouth sore and I swallowed some too...

I could not bear it. I have a girlfriend, a family and I'm always scared ... I don't want God to take away my everything in life... I could not concentrate on doing anything. I feel like staying at home all days and just keep fighting with this and my memory.

Could you please give me some advice on my risks ? Thank you...

Dear Mr Vance, thank you for your reply. I admit I am really into worst case scenario thinking and always feeling nervous and anxiety. From what I had written you really think it did not happen ? Even if it did really happen did I have high risk, Mr Vance ? I hope I can have rational thinking like you so I can rest for some minutes... I feel so stressful thinking about the situation...

Stop thinking about how this magic spit did this or that, it didn't happen. You had no risk.

Dear Mr. Vance. Thank for your reply. May I ask even if it's blood and it flew into my mouth, touch my gum and sore, and went down my sore throat is it high risk for me... I am so anxious and stressful...

Thanks for your feedback... I am afraid if the blood or split fly to my mouth/teeth immediately then there is not enough time for HIV to become inactive... And because it's doubtful, it scares me every minutes...
